8. Hari Raya Shopping Day
| |
|
|
| |
It was time to go shopping to prepare for the celebration of Hari Raya Haji. Our K1 and K2 pupils were given coins and a shopping list to follow. While they attempted to buy the things stated on the shopping list, they learnt and revised on the concept of money. It was not a smooth ride as they tried to pay the correct amount but this did not deter them in anyway. Judging from their responses, they were happiest when they bought the sweets.
Our nursery and playgroup pupils joined in the fun too. The nursery pupils have to identify a certain denomination of the coins before making a purchase while our playgroup pupils had everything for free!
